The Technology

UV light disinfection is accepted for air conditioning, water treatment and hospitals. Third party testing on bacteria commonly found on shopping carts was 99.8% effective.

Consumer Response

55% of respondents answered that shopping experience would be enhanced with disinfected carts. 1 of 4 shoppers are likely to switch stores based on presence of system.

Safety

Fully enclosed with metal and a UV proof door. Activated only when cart is fully inserted and photocells confirm cart is empty. Door opens only after lights are turned off. All operation is fully programmed.

Lab Testing
